A Costa Mesa, California family of five, with triplets on the way, recently returned from a seven-day vacation at a Scottsdale, Arizona resort to find that their home had nearly doubled in size and was filled with new furniture and appliances, including a Lennox Reflections Electric Fireplace. The transformation was the subject of the Sunday, March 21 episode in ABCs popular new reality television series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Previously aired episodes can also be seen on ABCs Thursday night line-up. The network's top-rated show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition rewards deserving homeowners with a radical home renovation; then films the remodeling process, as well as the family's reaction on seeing their new home for the first time.
For the March 21 "triplets" episode, construction crews built a 500 square-foot addition with two new bedrooms onto the home. But thats not all. We opened up the kitchen, living room and dining room to create an airy, bright space where the family can gather, and built a floor-to-ceiling slate surround for the new fireplace, said Leah Hariton, Design Producer, ABC. “An important part of the homes new décor is the Reflections Electric Fireplace from Lennox Hearth Products,” Hariton said. “We were looking for a fireplace that was child-friendly and easy-to-operate. When we saw Reflections and its remarkable flame display, we knew we had the right product.”
“Lennox Hearth Products is committed to bringing innovative hearth solutions to consumers, and 16 million consumers were seeing the new Lennox Reflections Electric fireplace for the first time Sunday night, March 21 on ABC.” said Doug Jenks, advertising and promotions manager for LHP. “Even though the Reflections’ flame presentation is virtually indistinguishable from a real wood burning fire, parents don’t have to worry about children getting too close to the hearth and burning themselves. That’s just one of the many benefits from having HDFV (High Definition Fire View) technology,” added Jenks.
ABC was so impressed with the Reflections fireplace, that Lennox Hearth Products was asked to supply the show with fireplaces for the rest of the season.
